talented java designer/developer with the following skills:
- AT LEAST 2-and-a-half-year hands-on experience designing/developing/testing
applications on JEE
platform;
- in depth MVC pattern knowledge;
- at ease with SQL enviroments (MySQL,PostgreSQL...);
- at ease with modern application servers (Apache Tomcat, Glassfish...);
- at east with basic HTML & Javascipt concepts;
- hands-on experience with Maven;
- hands-on ORM tools (hibernate, JPA);
- experience with SVN for versioning;
- shell/bash scripting basics;
- use of Ecliipse IDE;
In addition to this, a successful candidate will be completely at ease in
working in a team (as both leader and member); will have to define and meet
his/her own deadlines; will possess effective communications skills when facing
third-party or clients' side; will support his/her work with documentation.
Following list contains what will be considered a plus, but still it'll be
greatly appreciated:
- know-how of OSGI concepts;
- some experience with JMS (especially ActiveMQ);
- test-driven-development attitude;
- fluency in English (spoken, written);
- knowledge of any e-commerce platform;
- any level of knowledge of any other language or development platform (PHP,
Python/Django, Ruby/ROR, Objective-C/iOS, Facebook Apps) will also be much
appreciated;
