Service and Support for Science IT (S3IT) is a core unit at the
University of Zurich with the ambitious goal of supporting research uses
of IT. We provide services and infrastructure in cloud and
high-performance computing, data management, and software development.
The operations team currently consist of 4 persons managing a private
openstack cloud deployment (~ 20000 vcores), two small specialized HPC
cluster and a ceph storage cluster (~2 PB usable) all running Ubuntu.
We are looking to expand our team with a sysadmin with a strong linux
background, Openstack and Ceph experience will be considered an advantage.
Team language is English.
