the Euro-Mediterranean Center on Climate Change (CMCC)
is taking into consideration the possibility to hire a System Manager
to manage the computing centre of the CMCC research group located in Bologna.
The desired qualifications are:
• Knowledge of TCP/IP management through Unix-like, Windows e Linux servers;
• Experience in printers, applications and users management under Unix, Mac and Windows environments;
• Skill in shell scripting and programming languages (i.e. Fortran/90, C);
• Experience in management and configuration of proxy server, Firewall, Application Server e web server;.
• Expertise in hardware maintenance and software assistance for computational systems (unix/linux), storage systems, workstations, tape libraries;
• High Performance Computing and High Availability solutions knowledge will be positively considered;
