[lavoro] Web programmers required in Naples

SDI Group (www.fabsurplus.com) is looking for programmers to work on a
contract basis, in order to enhance its existing software platform.

The programmers should be proficient in Java, SQL and Apache
programming, based on Linux Ubuntu platform.

SDI's goal is to improve internal business workflow required by an
expanding sales force, and the need to continuously improve services for
our customers.

The existing application runs on Apache Tomcat using mod_jk with MySQL
db. The front-end and business processing is written in Java using the
Struts framework, and was developed using the Eclipse IDE.

The db contains a list of sales items, a customer address book, and
details about sales in progress.

There is a secure internal UI, where sales agent can login to review,
add or delete sales items, and other data.

The application is also available on the www with a front-end for
customers to search through the database for items to buy. The
application, via JSP, also auto-generates a HTML sales catalog based on
items on the database.

The tasks to be performed include updates on the application and
database logics, updates on .jsp pages, based on specifications provided
to the programmers, building on the existing developed code.

The initial project estimate is about 28 working hours. More development
is scheduled to follow.
